Democrats Pat Snyder and Bill Hennessy have won re-election on Town Board, as has recently appointed Town Councilman Adam Greenberg.
Adam Greenberg, the Democratic farmer and former Zoning Board member who was appointed to Daniel Mackay’s vacant seat, beat Republican candidate Craig Shufelt in a close race. Greenberg received 50 percent of votes to Shufelt’s 48. A margin of 50 votes separated the two, with a voter turnout of 1,300 people.
Shufelt, a local business man, has indicated to The Spotlight that he would be interested in being appointed to a seat on the board to replace the board sear Douglas LaGrange will leave empty when he becomes supervisor. Democrat LaGrange ran unopposed for the seat.

The second Republican running, Christopher Freuh lost to Snyder and Hennessey. Freuh received 22 percent of votes to Snyder’s 35 percent and Hennessy’s 41 percent.
Town Supervisor Douglas LaGrange (D), Town Clerk Diane Deschenes (D), Highway Superintendant Kenneth Guyer (D), Town Justices Margaret Adkins (R) and David Wukitsch (D) all won re-election in unopposed races.
