Police are ruling out foul play in the death of a woman who was found earlier this morning at the Woodhill Apartment Complex in Glenmont by County Waste employees.
Bethlehem Police Lt. Thomas Heffernan said the 51-year-old woman was found outside the apartments around 7:20 a.m. According to the medical examiner, the cause of death was hypothermia due to exposure, with alcohol being a contributing factor.
`With the conditions and alcohol, it was just an unforeseen circumstance and a tragedy,` said Heffernan.
Police have confirmed the woman was from the area but was not a resident of the complex. Officials are still working on a timeline. Police are not releasing the woman’s name as they attempt to contact her immediate family.
