Spotlight News, the League of Women Voters and the Capital Area Council of Churches are hosting a candidate forum tonight for candidates running in primary contests in the Town of Bethlehem.
Candidates for the positions of town justice and highway superintendent have been invited. Justice candidates will make statements, and highway superintendent candidates will be fielding questions from the audience relayed by moderator Charles Wiff, managing editor at Spotlight News.
The forum will take place tonight (Thursday, Aug. 22) from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Bethlehem Town Hall, 445 Delaware Ave., Delmar. All are invited, but please refrain from bringing signs into the meeting room or otherwise politicking until the forum has concluded.
