The Brookfield Renewable Energy Group, New York State Conservation Council and Rensselaer County Conservation Alliance will host the third annual Falls View Park Fishing Derby at Brookfield’s Falls View Park in Cohoes Saturday, July 21, from 9 a.m.-noon.
All children up to 16 years old can participate. No pre-registration and the event is free. Lunch, beverages, fishing poles and bait will be provided. Prizes will be awarded.
Entrance to park is past the School Street hydropower facility on North Mohawk Street. Access park from pedestrian bridge over power canal.
