The Town of Clifton Park is pleased to announce the winners of the Clifton Park Idol and Taste of Clifton Park contests. The two contests were part of the 22nd Annual Winterfest which was held on February 11. Clifton Park Idol is a singing competition for children ages 6-17. The Taste of Clifton Park soup contest featured 12 local restaurants vying for best soup.
Clifton Park Idol winners in the 6-12 age group were Meagan Van Dusen, 11, 1st place; Anne Marie Burke, 10, 2nd place; and Kaylah Brito, 10, 3rd place winner.
Winners for the category ages 13-17 were Laura Johnson in 1st Place, James Johnson in 2nd Place, and Alex Haff in 3rd Place.
The winner of the Taste of Clifton Park was Peddler’s Bar and Bistro with their New England Clam Chowder.
