The Saratoga Springs Police Department has received the autopsy report of Alexander Grant, the 19-year-old college student who went missing in March and was later found dead in Putnam Creek, but said it will have no comment on the matter until the investigation is complete, according to a release on Wednesday, Sept. 21.
The police department said the investigation has not been completed, so no comments would be made until `all reasonable leads have been investigated.` The investigation is expected to come to a close in the `very near future,` according to the department.
According to information from the police department, the Grant family made a public statement that indicated that no narcotic drugs were found in Grant’s system and the police department said it could `verify the accuracy of the Grant family statement` regarding the absence of narcotic drugs in the autopsy report.
