Schenectady County officials are urging residents with property damage or evacuated because of the disaster to contact FEMA immediately to register for assistance. Individuals can register online at www.disasterassistance.gov or call the toll-free registration number at 1-800-621-FEMA (3362).
County officials said it is extremely important residents document all damage, preferably with photos and written lists of items damages before any clean-up is begun.
