Local families filled Tawasentha Park in Guilderland on Tuesday, Aug. 2, for the town’s National Night Out event.
The annual event takes place in communities across the country and is intended to foster a positive relationship between police and the community, as well as provide families with a fun and safe evening.
Members of local and state law enforcement, fire departments and ambulance squads were on hand to open up their vehicles and give the public tours and demonstrations. Attendees were also treated to a Mustang car show, pony rides and a performance by the Refrigerators at the Guilderland Performing Arts Center.
