A concrete truck downed power lines on Elsmere Avenue this morning, Friday, June 17, leaving those in the vicinity without electricity.
The driver of the truck was trapped in the vehicle’s cab for about a half an hour until power to the lines could be shut off.
According to police on the scene, Elsmere is closed from Walden Fields Drive to Feura Bush Road, and will remain closed throughout the morning.
