Upon completion of an autopsy conducted June 11 at Albany Medical Center, the male subject deceased found in the Hudson River north of the Bethlehem boat launch on Friday, June 10, has been identified as Keith A. Rafferty, age 28
Rafferty, formerly of Troy, was reported missing, last seen by family members last November. Next of kin have been notified.
According to information from the Troy police department, the cause of death is not yet determined. The death has not yet been classified by the Medical Examiner. Troy detectives will work with other agencies in an effort to further detail the activities of the deceased prior to his death and assist the M.E. in making a finding as to the classification of the death.
