The Colonie Police Department Special Services Team (SWAT) made an arrest on the evening of Thursday, Jan. 20, of Colonie man suspected of dealing heroin on Central Avenue.
Frank W. Green, 47, was arrested as a result of a month-long investigation by the Colonie Police Special Investigations Unit and Investigations Division. A search warrant from Colonie SWAT was issued for Green’s arrest for allegedly selling heroin, along with an Albany County Court Arrest Warrent.
Two undercover officers purchased heroin on two dates during the investigation, police said.
Green was found inside a motel room with a female, who was not charged in this case) where he was allegedly found to be in possession of scales and packaging materials that police said are consistent with heroin sales.
Green is charged with two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, which is a felony. He is currently in Albany County Correctional Facility and will appear at Albany County Court at a later date.`
