State Police in Wilton are looking for two trucks involved in a fatal motor vehicle-pedestrian accident that occurred on I-87 in the Town of Wilton at about 7:15 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 3. The male victim, Oleg Moston, 77, of Saratoga Springs, attempted to cross the southbound lanes when he was struck by a passenger car, according to police reports.
Moston was then struck by two tractor trailers, both of which continued south on I-87, said police. Police said the driver of the first vehicle, as well as a number of witnesses, stopped to render assistance but were unable to reach the victim before he was struck by the trucks. At least one of the trucks is believed to have black fiberglass trim on the front end but no further description of the trucks is available.
