Glenville police arrested Tabitha M. Pappas, 18, of Rotterdam Junction, for the felony charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree and the misdemeanor charge of petit larceny on Tuesday, Nov. 17.
Pappas worked as a pharmacy tech at Wal-Mart in Glenville and is alleged to have stolen 144 Hydrocodone tablets from the store’s pharmacy over two separate occasions, according to police. The pills were later recovered from her purse, said police, which was secured in her locker at work.
Pappas was processed and arraigned in Glenville Town Court and was sent to the Schenectady County Jail on $500 cash bail. She is scheduled to return to court at a later date.`
