Republican candidate Jennifer Jergen Bensan beat out Robert A. Rybak for the Saratoga County Family Court Judge seat, making her the first woman judge in the county since 1791.
It’s such an honor to be a part of history and to tell my daughter that we made history tonight, said Bensan.
Unofficial results showed Bensan ahead of Rybak 40,659 votes to 31,056 at 99 percent reporting.
John A. Fantauzzi (R/C) can call himself the new Town Justice in Ballston after beating James Breen (D/I) 2,119 votes to 1,647, with 100 percent reporting.
