The Bethlehem girls volleyball team needed five games to defeat Shenendehowa 3-2 in Tuesday’s Suburban Council match.
Kat Rice’s 14 kills and 12 service aces led Bethlehem (8-2), which won the final game 25-16 to take the match. Lydia Loy-Santilli contributed 33 assists and three service aces, while Jaci Oskam added five kills, seven blocks and two aces.
Hunter Drews had 12 kills and eight service points for Shen (7-2), which rallied from a 2-0 deficit to win the third game 25-16 and the fourth game 25-17. Bethlehem won the first two games by scores of 25-20 and 25-14.
Lauren Rokjer chipped in 10 kills, and Kelsey Kromer added eight kills and seven blocks for the Plainswomen.`
