The Saratoga Springs boys cross country team swept Colonie and Ballston Spa in Tuesday’s Suburban Council meet at The Crossings in Colonie.
The Blue Streaks defeated Colonie 17-46 and Ballston Spa 15-50. Colonie beat Ballston Spa 17-46 to earn the split.
Saratoga’s Sam Place finished first with a time of 15:40. Teammate Kyle Wegner was second with a time of 16:22, and Jonah Williams placed third for the Blue Streaks with a time of 16:51.
Ed Brown (fourth place, 16:56) was Colonie’s top runner. Grant Knight (14th, 18:00) led Ballston Spa.`
