Alex Leuchanka and Emily Finnegan each had top-15 finishes for the University at Albany cross country team at last weekend’s Iona Meet of Champions in New York City.
Leuchanka, a Shenendehowa High School graduate, took ninth place out of 207 male runners with a time of 25:26.84 on the 8-kilometer course at Van Cortlandt Park. Finnegan placed 12th in the women’s 6-kilometer race with a time of 22:46.42.`
