Kristina Maksuti scored off her own rebound less than four minutes into overtime to lift the Bethlehem girls soccer team past Shaker 2-1 in Thursday’s Suburban Council game in Latham.
Maksuti received a free kick 20 yards from Shaker’s goal. Maksuti’s initial shot bounced off the Lady Bison’s wall, but the ball bounced right back to her and she shot it off the underside of the crossbar and into the goal.
Marjana Maksuti gave the Lady Eagles a 1-0 lead 12:37 into the second half before Amanda Clough tied the game for the Lady Bison with 50 seconds left in regulation.`
