State Police in Princetown arrested Justin C. Tadiello, 22, of Warren Cemetery Road, Hoosick Falls, for the felony charge of criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree. State Police in Rhinebeck issued a warrant to Tadiello for the felony charge of burglary in the second degree. The New York State Parloe also issued a warrant for violation of parole.
State Police in Rhinebeck were called to an alleged burglary of an occupied residence during early morning hours on Sunday, Sept. 12. The homeowners were awoken when a subject entered their home through a locked door and stole a handbag, wallet, pellet gun and their 2008 Nissan Altima, according to State police.
Troopers from both Princetown and the Community Narcotics Team acquired information the evening of Monday, Sept. 13, the subject was in the Rotterdam area. After surveillance of a home off of Curry Road, the Nissan was located, said police. In addition to the vehicle, troopers recovered the handbag, wallet, and pellet gun.
Tadiello is alleged to have walked away from a drug rehabilitation center in Rhinebeck sometime during the evening of Saturday, Sept. 11, said police.
Tadiello was arraigned in the Town of Rotterdam and remanded to Schenectady County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond. He is scheduled to reappear in Rotterdam Town Court on Thursday, Sept. 16, at 4 p.m.`
