After Joseph Corr became the new North Colonie Central School District Superintendent he left a vacancy at his previous post of Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum Instruction.
Now that he has moved on, the district will be holding Meet the Candidate Forums on Aug. 24 and 26, as they search for his replacement, according to press release.
Members from the community are invited to attend these forums where they will hear Lynne Wells and Candace Lobdell speak from 7:05 p.m. to 8:50 p.m. on Aug. 24; and Kathy Skeals and Russell Moore from 7:05 p.m. to 8:50 p.m. on Aug. 26.
Candidates will describe their backgrounds, as well as their training and experience during their presentations.
The forums will be moderated by Corr and Communications Manager for Capital Region BOCES Deborah Bush-Suflita. A question-and-answer session will follow each presentation.
This event will be held in the Shaker High School Media Center.
