Two women hopped a curb, drove through some shrubs and into the wall of a Friendly’s Restaurant on Route 146 in Clifton Park on Thursday, Aug. 12, according to police reports.
Around 11:45 a.m., two women who had just patronized Friendly’s, emerged from the building, entered their car and while attempting to leave the parking love, drove over the curb, into the shrubs and crashed through the class and concrete wall of the restaurant. The driver of the car was Ann Frascinella, 75, of Clifton Park and her passenger was Elizabeth Denue, 83, of Clifton Park, according to police reports. Both women were treated and released at St. Mary’s Hospital in Troy and there were no apparent injuries. Alan Hughes, 20, a Friendly’s employee, was treated for minor injuries at the scene by Clifton Park-Halfmoon EMS.
