Saratoga Springs police apprehended a man they say tried to rob the Saratoga National Bank at 91 West Avenue today.
Police say Justin Dingman, 26, of Porters Corners, entered the bank at approximately 1:17 p.m. and handed a note to one of the tellers demanding cash and claiming to have a weapon. He fled the bank with an undetermined amount of cash but was apprehended by Officer Justin Ahigian, who was responding to a report of the robbery, police said.
No weapon was recovered or displayed.`
