A Clifton Park man was arrested by State Police on Saturday, July 3, for allegedly committing multiple car larcenies in areas of Cohoes and Clifton Park, according to police reports.
State Police arrested Michael L. Girard of 1 Merrall Drive in Clifton Park for criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth Degree and unlawful possession of marijuana. According to police, Girard committed multiple car larcenies in the early morning hours of July 3, in the areas of North Mohawk Street in Cohoes and in several developments off of Crescent Radd in Clifton Park. Girard was still in possession of the stolen items upon his arrest and further found to be in possession of marijuana, said police.
Girard was arraigned in the Town of Halfmoon Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Clifton Park Court on July 7.
