A man claims he was shot in the hand while in Colonie, according to police reports.
Colonie police were notified by Schenectady Police, 28-year-old Jeremy Williams, was being treated in St. Clair’s Hospital. He was moved to Ellis Hospital for treatment, although officials said the wound is not life threatening.
Williams said he was parked in a car with a female passenger on Lombard Street near Central Avenue around 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 9, when he was fired upon, according to the police reports. Williams said three shots were fired, but had little other information about the alleged assailant or the woman, the report states.
Lombard Street was combed over by Colonie police, and police said there was no evidence of a shooting and interviews with locals did not yield any information about shots fired.
