SPAC’s first ever Battle of the Bands has officially begun, with all entries and videos submitted.
Now comes the voting.
Between Friday, April 16 and Sunday, April 18, the public is encouragd to view the audition videos and vote for their favorite band on SPAC’s Web site, www.spac.org. The band that garners the most public votes will automatically be in the competition and a SPAC selection committee with choose nine other finalists.
`Battle of the Bands` will be Friday, May 21, at the Spa Little Theatre at 6 p.m. where finalists will perform for a live audience and panel of local judges.
The winning band will receive a prize package that includes a professionally recorded five-song EP at The Recording Company and airplay on northeast radio station WEQX.
