Guilderland scored four runs in the top of the sixth inning to rally for a 9-7 victory over Colonie in Thursday’s Suburban Council South Division game.
Matt Zanotta provided the big blow for the Dutchmen (2-0 league, 2-0 overall) with his three-run homer in the top of the sixth. Zanotta now has four home runs on the season, as he went deep three times in Guilderland’s 17-5 victory over Mohonasen Wednesday.
Sean Geisel contributed three singles for the Dutchmen, who handed Colonie (1-1, 4-1) its first loss of the season.
Christian Fitzgerald belted a solo home run, and Kenny Curione added a double and a single for the Garnet Raiders.`
