Eric Halek scored seven goals to lead the Bethlehem boys lacrosse team to a 17-2 Suburban Council victory over Columbia Thursday in Delmar.
Playing without Pat Johnson, who injured his knee in a game earlier in the week, the Eagles found other players to step up on offense. Besides Halek’s seven goals, Stephen Russo and Andy Conroy each recorded hat tricks, and Griffin Blanchard added a goal and three assists. Russo also had three assists.
Alex Herrick and Sean Kelly tallied in the first half for Columbia.`
