Colonie residents are rallying to raise money to help offset burial costs for a lifelong resident who was killed in a motorcycle accident in February.
Joseph M. Grounds, 41, died Feb. 25 in Florida after a motorcycle collision. Michael’s Banquet House will host a fundraiser to help pay for services and transportation costs for the family, according to information from event organizers.
Michael’s Banquet House is on Route 9 in Latham, and the April 9 show will begin at 6 p.m.
Local bands Super 8 Six, Mike and the Monsters and Thick will perform.
