Bethlehem police responded Wednesday, Feb. 10, to what has been determined to be the scene of a death by natural causes at 22 Hunter Road in Delmar.
Bethlehem Police Lt. Thomas Heffernan said police do not suspect foul play, but since the person lived there alone it took detectives longer than usual to perform the steps involved in an unattended death investigation.
The person died of natural causesthere was nothing suspicious, Heffernan said.
A police unit was stationed at the house Thursday while detectives completed their investigation.
Police declined to release information on the person’s identity until the investigation has been formally completed.
