The Siena Men’s basketball team gave a hand unloading apples at the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York on Tuesday, Jan. 5.
The team helped raise 755 lbs. of food and $750 in donations at its Saturday, Jan. 2 game, according to information from the team.
On Jan. 5, the team performed the second leg of its charitable effort by helping out on site at the food banks warehouse in north Colonie.
Kyle Downy, a shooting guard for Siena, said despite a late arrival from yesterday’s game at Loyola of Maryland, he and his teammates were happy to contribute.
