Following guidance from the state Department of Health, the Albany County Department of Health has opened its clinics to all County residents 6-months and older who want to receive the vaccine, including those who do not fall under one of the target groups identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Albany County residents 6 months and older are eligible to receive free H1N1 vaccine at the following clinics:
Monday, Dec. 14, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Ravena Coeymans Selkirk High School, 2025 Route 9W, Ravena.
Tuesday, Dec. 15, through Friday, Dec. 18, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Albany County Department of Health, 175 Green Street, Albany.
All clinics are by appointment only. Individuals can register online at www.albanycounty.com/health or by phone at 447-4505. Phones are open weekdays 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
