The town of Niskayuna has recently acquired approximately 100 acres of park lands as a part of both county land given to the town on Stanford Ave. and over 72 acres on Consaul Rd. as a part of a new development.
72 acres of the new parkland is a part of a new development off of Consaul Rd. The land will be used for hiking and walking trails, with public parking, for public use. With the creation of the new development, a multi-use path will also be added for walking and biking inside the development.
The 23 acres off of Stanford Ave. was given to the town by Schenectady County. The land is set to include the creation of neighborhood playground with one parcel of the land, and the creation of hiking and walking paths that would enter into a woodland path at the end of the road. `
