The Shenendehowa boys soccer team wrapped up the Suburban Council North Division title Thursday night with a 3-0 victory over Ballston Spa in Clifton Park.
Mike Jenkins and Kevin Buchanan each had a goal and an assist for the Plainsmen (12-1-1), who have a three-point lead over second-place Saratoga Springs with two divisional games left. Each divisional game is worth one point to the winner.
Matt Silvi also tallied, and David Clemens added an assist for Shen.
In other Suburban Council boys soccer action Thursday, Shaker edged Saratoga 1-0, while Niskayuna defeated Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake 2-0.
Brandon Risler scored early in the second half, and goaltender Joe Scarchilli stopped all 13 shots he faced for the Blue Bison (7-6-1). Aaron Costello had 10 saves for the Blue Streaks (9-4-1).
Ethan Kelly and Monil Patel had the goals for NIskayuna (7-7) in its victory over BH-BL (3-8-1).`
