Due to the first concert selling out in only four hours, the Shaker Heritage Society and Natalie Merchant have decided to put on a second concert at the Shaker Meeting House on Sunday, Sept. 27 at 5 p.m.
The first concert is being held at 1:30 p.m. that day, but, according to Anne Clothier, education coordinator for the Society, Merchant agreed to do a second concert that day after the first one sold out in such a short time.
Tickets are being sold in prices ranging from $50 to $150. The $150 tickets are for the first three rows, while the less expensive tickets are for the other rows and bleacher-style seating.
The concert will be held at the Shaker Meeting House, located across from the Albany International Airport off of Heritage Lane. Tickets can be obtained by picking up the tickets from the museum or by calling 456-7890 ext. 25.
