The Saturday Delmar Farmers Market will open for the season on June 6 at 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. and will feature local, organic and natural farm products, baked goods, local and fair trade crafts and music.
It will be located at the Bethlehem Central Middle School, 322 Kenwood Ave., Delmar. Local farmers will be offering a variety of goods for sale including farm fresh fruits and vegetables apples, berries, grapes, peaches, plums, corn, a variety of greens and tomatoes, fresh eggs, cheese and locally raised beef, lamb and poultry.
Bakers will bring breads and pastries, including pies, turnovers, and cookies. Specialty items will include quiches and vegetable tarts, and homemade soups, along with hand-made crafts such as wool blankets, handspun yarns, hand-woven shawls, pottery, mosaics and jewelry.
The Market will also have live music from local musicians, as well as a community and children’s table.
