The Saratoga Springs Police Department announced today that a fourth subject was arrested in connection with an April 26 burglary and assault on Church Street.
Joseph Forstbauer, 22, of Woodlawn Avenue, Saratoga Springs, was charged with burglary in the first degree, a felony.
Police responded to a 911 call from a Church Street residence on the above date. When they arrived, they made contact with the resident, who had allegedly been assaulted by several persons.
Police arrested Steven Keady, 22, of Woodlawn Avenue, Saratoga Springs and Christopher Crowley, 23, of South Weymouth, Maine, a short distance from the residence. A subsequent investigation lead to the arrest of Timothy Welsh, 22, of Woodlawn Avenue, Saratoga Springs, on May 1.
All were charged with burglary in the first degree.
According to police, the incident may have been the result of a dispute between a woman between the victim and one of the subjects.
All four individuals have been arraigned in City Court and an investigation is continuing.`
