Colonie police are searching for the driver of a vehicle that struck and injured a pedestrian at about 8 p.m. at the intersection of Central and Homestead avenues on Tuesday, April 28.
Today (Wednesday, April 29), police released new evidence findings that provide somewhat of a description of the car. Police said the car that was said to have struck the pedestrian is a silver Mitsubishi Galant that is missing its driver’s side rearview mirror, with possible other damage to the driver’s side and is a model between the years of 1999 and 2003.
Police do not have a description of the driver.
Colonie police are asking that anyone who had witnessed the crash or the vehicle leaving the scene should contact them at 783-2744.
