The Bethlehem Eagles hockey team defeated Glens Falls 4-2 on Wednesday’s Senior Night.
This was a very important win, especially for the seniors, said Bethlehem coach Dick Hughes. `This was a great way for them to have their last league game.`
Kyle Barach and Eric Halek tallied in the first period to give the Eagles a 2-1 lead. Bethlehem’s defense took over after that, keeping the Indians off the scoreboard for the final two periods.
`It was total team defense,` said Hughes.
Barach and Halek struck again with goals in the first two minutes of the third period to seal Bethlehem’s victory.
Eagle goaltender Alex Cooper stopped 24 shots, while Josh Hill made 17 saves for Glens Falls.
