The Town of Bethlehem will be holding its annual organizational meeting tonight at Town Hall, 445 Delaware Ave, at 6 p.m. The meeting will consist of strictly organizational matters such as appointments, reappointments, salary approvals and petty cash allotments.
The board will not be conducting formal town business as it does during a regular town board meeting. The next scheduled town board meeting of the year is next week on Wednesday, Jan. 14.
Some of the appointments to be voted on tonight, according to the agenda, will include Suzanne Traylor as comptroller and Joseph Canslor as commissioner of public works both of whom are reappointments.
Some new appointments being considered include former Director of Economic Development George Leveille as a planning board member and chairman of the board and Daniel Coffey as planning board member.
The town’s zoning board chairman, Michael Hodom, and zoning board member Leonard Micelli are both expected to be reappointed.
The complete agenda can be found on the town’s Web site, www.townofbethlehem.org.
