Bethlehem Police are looking for a bank robber who made off with an undisclosed amount of money from the Delaware Plaza Key Bank on Saturday, Oct. 11.
Police are currently investigating the robbery that occurred at 164 Delaware Avenue, Delmar after receiving a call at 10:12 on Saturday morning from the bank’s security of a confirmed bank robbery.
Bethlehem police say the suspect approached the teller with a note demanding money. After the teller complied with the note, the suspect fled on foot.
Police and the bank did not release the exact amount of money stolen.
The suspect was last seen running across the Delaware Plaza parking lot, according to police. He was described as a black male, between 35 and 45 years of age with a medium build and is approximately 5 foot, 10 inches tall.
Police added that he weighs around 175 pounds, has short buzzed cut hair, is clean shaven, and was wearing a mid-weight light colored waist length jacket, fitted navy blue sweatpants and grey and white sneakers.
No weapon was displayed during the robbery, according to a police report, and no injuries were reported.
The New York State Police K-9 Unit assisted at the scene at the scene of the crime.
