Due to inclement weather a benefit softball game pitting jockeys against state police scheduled for Monday, Aug. 11, has been postponed until Monday, Aug. 18.
The event benefits the Catie Hoch Foundation and the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund.
Cost of admission is $5 per person or $20 per family of five or more. There will be food available for purchase, great prizes and the first 200 paid admissions will receive an 8×10 group photo of the jockeys that can be autographed later on by the jockeys. This is a wonderful family event that includes a meet and greet with all the top jockeys after the game so be sure to bring your cameras and pens for autographs as well.
The event is sponsored by the Saratoga Springs Department of Recreation and Ric Mitchell from B95.5 FM will be Master of Ceremonies.
