Saratoga Springs will once again be holding the SaratogaArtsFest from Friday, June 13 to Sunday, June 15.
The event will feature a variety of musical genres, dance, theatre and the visual arts.
Authors Honor Moore, author of The Bishop’s Daughter, and Sara Gruen, author of Water for Elephants, will be holding literary discussions and readings.
In addition, Thursday night will see a prelude fundraiser with wine and food provided by Putnam Wine and Putnam Market. For $75, you can preview art and taste a range of wines, and also buy your Artspass at a $5 discount.
The Artspass provides free or discounted admission to all of SaratogaArtsFest’s events, as well as discounts at many local shops and businesses over the weekend. They are $30, with discounts available for seniors, students, and children three to eleven (children under three are free).
You can check out Art in Alternative Spaces for free, though. Photography exhibits, sidewalk art and craft art will be on display in non-gallery settings across the city.
Check www.saratogaartsfest.org for a full schedule of events and to purchase your Artspass.
