The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake community will be celebrating its seventh annual Flag Day parade on Thursday evening, June 12.
The parade route will cover about two miles of Route 50 between High Mills Road and Forest Road, and the march will begin around 7:00 p.m. The parade will begin at the BH-BL High School and the Burnt Hills Lanes bowling alley and end at Country Acres and Pizza Works.
The parade is largely organized by the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Business and Professionals Association, whose members include numerous local businesses.
Former town supervisor Ray Callanan is to be the Grand Marshall. Spectators are advised to stick around after the parade for a fireworks display on the athletic fields behind the BH-BL High School at 9:15 p.m.
Parade entry forms are available on the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Business and Professional’s website at www.bhblbpa.com.
