Saratoga Springs police are reporting that a 16-year-old city girl, previously reported missing since late last night, has been found.
Crystal A. Hrnjak, a 10th-grade student at The Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs was reported missing last night, March 11, according to Saratoga Springs Police. They said Hrnjak’s last known communication was a 4:09 p.m. Tuesday cell phone call to a friend.
At about 2:30 p.m. members of the Saratoga Springs Police Department located Hrnjak unharmed within the city limits and called off the missing child alert, according to written statement.
No criminal activity is suspected at this point, said Saratoga Police.
We do not know the reason for her disappearance, said Sgt. Warren Wildy with Saratoga Spring Police Juvenile Aid Unit.
Hrnjak’s phone call to her friend was unrelated to her disappearance, Wildy said.
According to a state Criminal Justice Services alert, Hrnjak is new to the area, having lived in the city less than a year.
