The 25th annual Capital Region Heart Ball, a benefit for the American Heart Association will be held Saturday, March 8, from 6 p.m. to midnight at the Hall of Springs, 108 Avenue of the Pines, in Saratoga Springs.
The Heart Ball benefits the American Heart Association and brings prominent scientists, medical professionals and community business leaders together for a festive evening to raise awareness and funds to fight cardiovascular disease and stroke, the nation’s No. 1 and No. 3 killers of men and women.
Gerard Marciano, a Guilderland resident, of Johnson Controls is the chairman of this year’s event.
There will be a silent auction throughout the evening.
Some of this year’s guests of honor include Gavin Nolan, 3, his sisters and parents, all of Clifton Park. Nolan was born with several heart defects, and today, one of his favorite items of clothing is his Chicago Bears jersey like his dad’s.
The Karen Lawrence Band will provide music.
