St. Thomas the Apostle School in Delmar will give away a fully loaded 2007 Ford Fusion SEL as the grand prize in its second annual raffle to benefit the school and its programs. First prize is a trip to Disney World valued at $3,000, and second prize is $1,500. Winning tickets will be drawn Saturday, April 5, at the third annual St. Thomas Auction to be held at the school.
Raffle tickets are $100 each and will be available beginning in February at the school, the parish office, after all Masses on Saturday evening and Sunday morning, and at Gochee’s Auto Sales on Delaware Avenue. Only 700 tickets will be sold. For every 10 tickets sold above 500, St. Thomas will add an additional bonus gift of $500 to the drawing.
Mastercard, Visa, checks and cash will be accepted. Mail-in order forms will be available at the sites mentioned above and in local publications. The mail-in order deadline for tickets is March 31.
The Ford Fusion SEL has a suggested price of $29,210 and includes top-of-the-line features such as all-wheel drive, leather seats, power moon roof, aluminum wheels, fog lamps, in-dash MP3 player and Sirius Satellite Radio with a six-month paid contract, power windows and locks, a perimeter alarm, safety system, navigation system and more. The car is parked in front of St. Thomas Church for viewing on most days.
