Finally, it has snowed. There’s a tree (undecorated) in our living room, and I’ve done enough shopping that the last little bit will be festive, not crazed. We are beginning to discuss what we’d like for Christmas dinner.
Cormac’s play finishes tonight; it was brilliant. Christopher submitted the last of his college applications and heads off for an alumna interview this evening. I’ll pick up the Christmas cards after the last show, and will crack open the card-writing bottle of Bailey’s that will make me misty about the holiday.
And I’ll keep an eye out for magic. It comes when I least expect it, so I’ll watch … `
