A Feura Bush teen was involved in an accident with a town vehicle Thursday afternoon, Aug. 23, on Route 32 in Bethlehem.
Bethlehem police report that 17-year-old Erica Duell was traveling south on Route 32 when she crossed into the path of a Bethlehem town garbage truck driven by 28-year-old Jason Maurer. The accident occurred just after 3 p.m. about a quarter mile south of Feura Bush Road.
Duell was the only occupant in the vehicle and was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Members of the Delmar fire and ambulance service, along with responders from Selkirk, Slingerlands, Bethlehem and Albany County assisted in extricating Duell from her vehicle.
