The women-led risk management panel will help Capital Region nonprofits strategize for keeping risk in check. It will help guide decision makers through the complicated ins & outs of everyday life running a not-for-profit.

Topics to be discussed: Risk management for not-for-profits including insurance, human resources, financial services (grants, fundraising, loans), volunteer programs, legal compliance, marketing, IT/ security, and overall business strategy.

The panelists are:

• Katie Stair, Director of Nonprofit Services at Capital CFO+
• Sarah Gold, Attorney at Gold Law Firm

The panel will be moderated by Lauren Trunko, Chief Development Officer of the YWCA of NENY.
We will be working with the Schenectady Menstrual Health Coalition to host a tampon/ pad drive in conjunction with the event.

The event is $15 and is open to anyone with an interest in risk management for nonprofit organizations. Light refreshments will be provided.
