Social Security: Strategies for a More Enjoyable Retirement

Amsterdam, NY – September 3, 2021 – The Amsterdam Library is offering a free Social Security Claiming Strategies seminar on Thursday, September 16th at 6:00 PM for individuals ages 55+. This one-hour educational program is designed to help attendees learn how to optimize their Social Security benefits before receiving them.
“Collecting Social Security benefits could be one of the most important financial decisions of a lifetime and could potentially cost someone thousands of dollars in lost retirement income without the right claiming strategy,” says John N. Kalil. Jr., LUTCF, a Retirement Coach and the Founder of Retirement Solutions, LLC. Mr. Kalil will be presenting the information as a community service.
Individuals concerned about outliving their money and when to start collecting their Social Security benefits, are encouraged to attend. Mr. Kalil is a frequent guest lecturer on the subject of Social Security and has over 27 years of professional experience helping people better prepare for the financial challenges of retirement.
